Known by many as a personable and caring dental professional, Dr. Nakhaei has a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch, taking the fear out of dental appointments. 

Having been in private practice for over two decades, she is the proud Owner of Tooth Fairy Spa, serving patients in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Her practice provides top-tier general dentistry in multiple areas such as preventative care, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. 

Attending Towson State University, Dr. Nakhaei graduated with her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1996. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 2001. 

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Nakhaei completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington D.C. for one year. This exposure allowed her to treat patients with different medical conditions and disabilities by working alongside physician colleagues in the operating rooms and emergency department. 

To date, Dr. Nakhaei continues to pursue quality continuing education courses to stay on top of the most recent technology and advancements in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. 

Among her professional dental affiliations, she is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Dr. Nakhaei volunteers her time and services to several charitable and philanthropic endeavors, particularly within the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry’s Donated Dental Services program and the Mission of Mercy organization. Through her dedication and leadership, she has played a crucial role in extending dental care to individuals in need, especially those facing financial constraints and limited access to oral healthcare. 

When Dr. Nakhaei is not in the office, she spends quality time with her husband and daughter. She enjoys watching movies with her family, loves to dance like nobody’s watching, as well as does calligraphy and sewing when she gets the chance.
