Get to know Dentist Dr. Julia Davis, who serves patients in Midlothian, Virginia.

Dr. Davis is a seasoned dentist who has dedicated her career to enhancing the smiles and oral health of her patients. She currently sees patients at her private practice – Davis Dental Group – in Midlothian, Virginia.

A native of Virginia, she began her journey in dentistry at the University of Virginia, where she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. After completing her undergraduate studies, she gained valuable experience as a dental assistant for two years. This hands-on experience solidified her passion for dentistry and inspired her to pursue further education. She subsequently enrolled at the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors, graduating cum laude.

With her dental degree in hand, Dr. Davis embarked on a career in the Richmond, Virginia area as an associate dentist. For four years, she honed her skills, gaining expertise and building strong relationships with her patients. Driven by her ambition and commitment to providing exceptional dental care, she took a leap of faith and established the Davis Dental Group in 2008.

At the Davis Dental Group, she creates a comfortable and relaxing environment for her patients. Her primary goal is to help each individual achieve a smile they can be proud of. With a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch, she offers a range of dental services, including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, and cosmetic treatments.

To further her professional development and expand her knowledge, Dr. Davis maintains active membership in prestigious dental organizations. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry, through which she is actively pursuing her fellowship.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Davis finds joy and fulfillment in her role as a mother. She has two children with whom she loves spending quality time. Whether it’s engaging in outdoor activities, exploring new places, or simply enjoying each other’s company, she cherishes the moments shared with her family.
