Dr. Khanna has been our daughters doctor for 14 or 15 years. He is outstanding. Before seeing Dr. Khanna the girls had a different pediatrician and I knew that there was something wrong with our younger daughter, however, I could not get the previous doctor to listen to me nor did he have the expertise to diagnose her properly. Our younger daughter got sick and was admitted to Kings Daughters when she was around three years old and Dr. Khanna was the pediatrician on call for that evening and continued her care while she was admitted. Not only did he correctly diagnose her with Hereditary Spherocytosis very quickly (after her first pediatrician dismissed her symptoms and did not properly test her) but he was very kind and thoughtful in telling us her diagnosis. He has continued to provide outstanding care with compassion, humility, joy and the utmost concern for our children's health. He has always been very interactive (joking with them asking them about their sparkly shoes when they were younger, painted nails, how they are doing in school etc...not only putting them at ease but you can tell that he genuinely cares about kids. Both our girls have always loved him but I have to say that our younger daughter is especially attached to Dr. Khanna because of the constant care she required when younger. He has always shown a real concern and care for her and her condition and I feel because of that she truly feels a bond with him and is not looking forward to when she will be no longer be a pediatric patient. I also must say that he has went above and beyond with us as parents to ease our fears, keep us informed even if it meant he would be calling us at 8 or 9pm to give us lab results etc... You will not find a better pediatrician. We think the world of him as a person and as a doctor.
