Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Stephen J. Klacik, who serves patients in Gainesville, Georgia.

A trusted pediatrician, Dr. Klacik has been affiliated with Longstreet Clinic since 2004. He can also be found on staff at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Longstreet Clinic is a primary care and multi-specialty practice devoted to providing high quality medical care at convenient locations across northeast Georgia. Graduating with his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 1996, Dr. Klacik went on to further his education by completing a residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in 2000.

Recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
