Dr. Kenawy is an internist who is currently serving patients at her own private practice - Azza Ezzel-Arab Kenawy MD - located in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She is also affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital.

Dr. Kenawy received her medical degree in 1987 from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey. Jersey Shore University Medical Center is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge, both as a leading research facility and as an academic university-level teaching center.

Internal medicine or general medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. As an internist, Dr. Kenawy diagnoses and provides non-surgical treatment of diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. She provides care mainly for adults who have a wide range of problems associated with the internal organs.
