His impressive educational background includes graduating with honors from the University of Arizona, where he earned Bachelor’s degrees in both biochemistry and molecular/cellular biology. Dr. Aguilar continued his education at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, obtaining both his Medical Degree and Master of Public Health Degree. His extensive training laid the groundwork for a successful career in healthcare leadership.

Throughout his career, Dr. Aguilar has held significant leadership roles, including serving as the Chief Medical Officer at Northwest Hospital. In that capacity, he spearheaded several initiatives that enhanced community health services across various specialties. After six years, he took on the challenge of expanding service lines at Carondelet Health Network, unifying hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and critical care to deliver comprehensive care to patients.

With 16 years of clinical practice under his belt, Dr. Aguilar remains committed to patient-centered care and continuous innovation.
