Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). Practicing urology in the Orlando area for over 30 years, he was Chairman of the Department of Urology at Orlando Health for two terms. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Orange County Medical Society, and is an active member of the American Urological Association.
An author and co-author of over 26 US and international patents involving innovations related to improving patient safety, Dr. Kalser was recently awarded a U.S. patent for a device used in prostate cryoablation. He is currently involved in product development of a urinary catheter that will considerably reduce injuries to patients during hospitalization. This device will lessen complications and improve the efficacy and safety of prostate cryoablation.
