He then went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lake Erie, Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York, and at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
