Get to know Family Physician Dr. Stacy Taylor, who serves patients throughout the State of Connecticut.
Dr. Taylor is an experienced, board certified family physician who diagnoses, treats, and provides preventive care to individuals and families across the lifespan.
Currently, Dr. Taylor is affiliated with Trinity Health Of New England, practicing in Watertown, and soon inTorrington. She also teaches at the University of Connecticut Medical School and oversees family medicine residents affiliated with the University of Connecticut Family Medicine Residency.
In regards to her educational background, Dr. Taylor graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1998. She then went on to perform her residency in family medicine at the University of Connecticut from 1998 to 2001.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Taylor is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
Continuously advancing her efforts, Dr. Taylor remains an active member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians, and the Connecticut State Medical Society (President, 2023-2024). She also serves as a board member of Health Horizons International with which she also provides care to impoverished residents of the Dominican Republic on an annual basis. Dr. Taylor also volunteers as a medical director for Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Litchfield County. In 2023, she was honored with a “Superhero of Family Medicine” from her esteemed family medicine colleagues.
