In 1991, Dr. Mardirossian received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The Royal London Hospital Medical College, University of London in England. After 6 years in hospital-based dentistry and family based general dental practice in London, he completed his Dental Specialty residency training in Periodontics & Implant Surgery at the University of Southern California in 2000. He further obtained his Master of Science degree in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California in 2000.

A recipient of the California Society of Periodontology Outstanding Research Award in 2000, he was part-time faculty Assistant Professor at USC in the Advanced Periodontology Department from 2000 until 2004, and at Western University, College Dental Medicine from 2009 until 2014.

As he continues to expand his periodontal knowledge and expertise, Dr. Mardirossian maintains membership status with the following professional organizations: the American Academy Periodontology, the American Academy Osseointegration, the Tri-County Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Holding more than 20 years of experience in the field of periodontics and dental implants, he  has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 2004. Its mission is to certify the achievement of in-depth knowledge and proficiency in the full scope of periodontology and dental implant surgery through examination and periodic recertification.
