Determined to serve others, she began and completed both her Bachelors’s Degree, Medical Degree, and Residency after having her 5 children. (Nicole, Erica, Michelle, Lara & Jeff Jr. SHe completed her undergraduate (Bachelors of Science) from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois in 1989. Following the completion of her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Dobner went on to further her training. She served her residencies at Deaconess Hospital and Forest Park Hospital.

Licensed to practice medicine in Missouri, Iowa, and Illinois, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician is a physician who works at an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients. They care for unscheduled and undifferentiated patients of all ages.

Dr. Dobner has been married to her wonderful husband, Jeffrey for 41 years. They are blessed with 5 children and 14 grandchildren.
