Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts). An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health. Dr. Linn feels it is important for women to understand the dynamics of their own health and bodies in order to achieve optimal well-being and make informed choices throughout the various stages of their lives. Because every woman is unique and has different needs, she strives to develop close relationships with her patients to care for them and their families individually.
Dr. Linn is passionate about teaching our upcoming doctors and serves as a mentor to many medical students each school year while they spend their OB/Gyn rotation with her. She is a clinical instructor for Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Linn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as sewing and knitting, hiking, skiing, and beekeeping. She is a mother of two that are actively involved with Tae Kwon Do and the Indianapolis Colts Jr Cheerleading program.
