Dr. Daniel is a fellowship-trained specialist in the field of pulmonology, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions including asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung disease, and tuberculosis. He also treats sleep impairing conditions including sleep apnea and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder.
Having become renowned across Fresno and beyond for his patient-centric approach to his work, Dr. Daniel is always prepared to discuss conditions and potential courses of treatment with his patients. In California, he is affiliated with Saint Agnes Medical Center, Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, and Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital.
Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Daniel graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree from St. John’s Medical College and Hospital in India in 1998. He then relocated to the United States, earning his Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from the University of Alabama in 2000.
Furthering his training, he performed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in pulmonary and sleep medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in 2005 and 2007, respectively. A year later, in 2008, he completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.
Holding triple board certification, the doctor is board-certified in pulmonology disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Teaching students, Dr. Daniel serves as an Assistant Professor at the UCSF School of Medicine.
