A very gentle and caring professional in the field of dentistry, Dr. Tamtam is the Founder of Bright Star Dental, LLC in Seguin, Texas. She takes great pride in her work and wants all her patients to have a healthy and happy smile to last them a lifetime.

Locally operated and serving all ages in Seguin and the surrounding areas, some of the services that she offers include family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and sedation dentistry. She also has a passion for educating her patients on the prevention of dental disease.

Academically, Dr. Tamtam is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Prior to her move to the United States, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in India. 

Priding herself on staying up with the most current and up-to-date advances in technology and research in the dental field, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the River District Dental Society. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

On a more personal note, Dr. Tamtam is married to Dr. Sankara Rao Tamtam, MD, and both are blessed with two wonderful boys. They have been living in the Seguin area since 2000 and love the small town atmosphere.

During her free time, Dr. Tamtam enjoys spending time with family and friends, gardening, reading, and exercising at the local gym.
