Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Michael Bagheri who serves patients in Palm Springs, California.

An established cardiologist, Dr. Bagheri sees patients at his private practice – Cure Cardiovascular Consultants – in Palm Springs, California.

Originally from Iran, he graduated with his medical degree from the Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2000. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the East Tennessee State University in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Later, he completed an additional fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 2011.

With an unwavering commitment to his specialty, the doctor is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

As a testament to his success, Dr. Bagheri has been the recipient of the Top Doctor Award by Palm Springs Life Magazine (2018-2023).
