A prominent dentist, Dr. Bickel is the Owner & Operator of Redmond Art of Dentistry in Redmond, Washington.

Recognized as an expert in a variety of areas, he specializes in Invisalign orthodontics, sleep apnea treatment, sedation dentistry, advanced endodontic techniques, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants.

Taking a personalized approach to patient care, Dr. Bickel ensures that every person who walks through his doors receives the individual attention they deserve. He is dedicated to building lifelong relationships with his patients and helping them achieve optimal dental and overall health.

At the age of 12, Dr. Bickel made the decision to become a dentist. Growing up, he had severely overcrowded teeth. He required several extractions, including his wisdom teeth and extra front teeth known as mesiodens. He also needed extensive orthodontics on two separate occasions.

Through it all, he was treated with kindness and compassion from his general dentist, orthodontist, and periodontist. All of them had such a positive impact, not only on his smile and oral health, but on his confidence as well.

With roots in Eastern Washington, Dr. Bickel attended Eastern Washington University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. He then continued his education at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where he excelled and graduated in the top 10% of his class.

Before becoming a dentist, he honed his skills as a dental lab technician, where he became well-versed in fabricating crowns and other dental restorations.

Having always been a huge advocate of continuing education to ensure patients are receiving the best treatment available, Dr. Bickel attends continuing education courses on a monthly basis.

In addition, he is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Washington State Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

When ot practicing dentistry, Dr. Bickel enjoys all that Western Washington has to offer. From skiing and wake-boarding to golfing, fishing, and camping, he is an avid lover of the outdoors.
