With a special interest in neuroradiology, Dr. Rittweger is a highly trained diagnostic radiologist in practice with New Jersey Imaging Network.

As one of the largest imaging providers in the region, New Jersey Imaging Network offers a complete range of imaging services including digital & 3D mammography, X-ray, MRI/MRA, CT/CTA, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, DEXA for bone density measurement, and more. It operates numerous convenient outpatient locations throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Union, Camden, and Ocean counties.

Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Rittweger graduated with his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 1977. He then went on to complete his internship at Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary, and his residency in diagnostic radiology at Montefiore Medical Center in 1982.

That same year, he attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Treating adults, Dr. Rittweger is also affiliated with Hackensack Meridian Health Bayshore Medical Center & Hackensack Meridian Health Riverview Medical Center.
