Get to know Geriatrician Dr. Manisha Grover, who serves patients in Livingston, New Jersey.

A caring geriatrician, Dr. Grover is in practice at the Geriatric Health Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.

The Geriatric Health Center provides comprehensive, specialized senior care services to patients and families.

A native of India, Dr. Grover earned her medical degree from the Gajra Raja Medical College in 1997. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at New York Downtown Hospital in 2007.

Holding a license to practice medicine in New Jersey, the doctor is board-certified in geriatric medicine and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Geriatrics, or geriatric medicine, is a specialty that focuses on the health care of elderly people. It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults. A geriatrician is a health care provider who focuses on patient well-being and independent functioning. These allopathic or osteopathic health care providers are specifically trained to evaluate and manage the unique health care needs and special treatment requirements of older people.
