Among her professional experience, the doctor serves as an attending physician at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Harford, Connecticut – a position which she has held since 2009. She also serves as an Instructor within the Department of Surgery, Section of Podiatry at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. 

After acquiring her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2005, Dr. Balloch went on to complete a three-year residency in trauma-based foot and ankle surgery at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. After her training, she was asked to stay at the trauma center full-time as an attending surgeon, where she trained residents and treated patients.

A Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), she is a member of the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Society, the American Podiatric Medical Society, and the Trinity Health of New England Physician Network Organization. 

What’s more, she is board-certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot /ankle surgery by American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, whose mission is to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by the advancement of the art and science of podiatric surgery.
