Dr. Bhatia, is a distinguished and certified Neurologist, renowned Principal Investigator for Clinical Trials, and the esteemed Director at Neuro Pain Medical Center. His illustrious career is marked by a commitment to advancing neurological research, patient care, and medical leadership.

Academically, he embarked on his medical journey by completing his MBBS from Punjab, India, in 1986. He then pursued specialized training in Neurology, culminating in a Neurology Residency from the State University at Buffalo, NY, in 1997. His educational path also includes an MD in Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1994 and an MD in Neurology from SUNY Buffalo in 1997. 

As a testament of his continued education, Dr. Bhatia is board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.

Holding membership status, the doctor is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, the Society of Clinical Research Sites, the American Academy of Pain Management, the California Medical Association, the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and ACRP (Academy of Clinical Research Professionals).

Over the years, Dr. Bhatia has become a prominent figure in the field of neurology, holding significant positions that highlight his leadership and expertise. He served as the Vice Chief of the Department of Medicine at Rideout Memorial Hospital and currently holds the esteemed position of Chief at the Division of Neurology, Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno.

A prolific researcher, he has been at the forefront of clinical trials since 2003, having successfully completed over 100 trials. His dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evident in his published research paper on “Lesion Location Related to Type of Affective Disorder After Stroke.”
