A difference in pupil size not caused by an underlying medical condition is known as physiologic anisocoria. This can occur in up to 20% of patients, but is normally not larger than one or 2 mm. It is not related to your astigmatism. SO READ MORE

How can I hydrate my eyes without eye drops?
Most dry eye therapy involves the use of eyedrops, both over-the-counter lubricants, and prescription medications that increase tear production. However, I know of a few dry eye therapies that do not involve eyedrops. One is a nasal spray, called Tyrvaya, that stimulates tear release. Omega-3 fatty acids by mouth are known to increase tear production. Plugging or cauterization of the tear drainage ducts allow the tears that your eyes make to stay longer. Finally, a pellet, called Lacrisert, is placed each morning and has a sustained release of lubricant throughout the day. SO READ MORE
What causes astigmatism to worsen?
There are two types of astigmatism: external (corneal) and internal( lenticular). External astigmatism can worsen from the degenerative or inflammatory disease of the cornea, the front of the eye. Internal astigmatism can worsen from cataracts. READ MORE

Looking directly at the sun is always a bad idea. There are safe indirect methods of seeing the eclipse, or special protective lenses. Consult a photography store.
