Get to know Dentist Dr. Brittany Hoover, who serves patients in Atlanta, Georgia.

As a dentist, Dr. Hoover enjoys the connection she makes with each patient, the opportunity to treat individuals of all ages, as well as the ability to improve one’s quality of life. Whether seeing a 3-year-old for their first dental visit or a seasoned dental patient, she tries to make each experience a pleasant one.

At her private practice, West Paces Family Dentistry, every decision that she and her staff make is centered on what is best for the patient. Their mission is to provide the best dental treatment with compassion and care for each and every patient. 

Located in Atlanta, Georgia, West Paces Family Dentistry is a full-service practice with an emphasis on cosmetic and basic restorative dentistry. There, Dr. Hoover and her team of professionals focus on the things that are most important to each patient’s needs, ensuring that everything they do helps to improve their dental experience. They love to treat children, making their office convenient for the whole family. They also offer Invisalign, whitening products, snore guards, night guards, full or partial dentures, and oral cancer screenings. 

After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Furman University, Dr. Hoover went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Medical College of Georgia. With a commitment to continuing education, she attends many dental courses throughout the year in order to stay current with her dental knowledge and the latest techniques. This ensures that the patient receives the best treatment in a caring environment with the latest technology.

Among her many professional affiliations, she is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and was the Georgia President in 2011 and 2012, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society, and the Hinman Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

A believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Hoover has organized dental outreaches through Good Samaritan Dental Clinic and is a regular volunteer at Ben Massell Dental Clinic. Both clinics serve Atlanta by providing care to the working poor. Also, volunteering at the Special Olympics and overseas dental trips to Nicaragua and Peru have been essential parts of her life.

Born and raised in Snellville, Dr. Hoover has had the pleasure of treating many family and friends over the years. She and her husband, John, enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, biking, and running. They are most excited about their two daughters who are a delight!
