Dr. Singh received his medical degree from Moti Lal Nehru Medical College in Allahabad, India in 1995.
Upon receiving his medical degree, Dr. Singh completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then went on to complete his fellowship training in Complex Spine Surgery / Adult Spine Deformity at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. From there, he relocated to New Orleans and worked at Tulane Medical Center as an Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery and Co-Director of the Spine Center.
Dr. Singh is board-certified in Neurological Surgery by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Certification by the ABNS is based on review and evaluation of an applicant’s education, training and practice qualifications as well as successful completion of written and oral examinations.
He holds professional memberships with the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana Neurosurgical Society. Furthermore, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
