Get to know Family Physician Dr. John C. Munshower, who serves patients in Media, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Munshower has been practicing for more than 24 years in the Media/Delaware County area. He sees patients aged 7 and older at Main Line HealthCare Family Medicine at Riddle Hospital—and has a special interest in chronic disease management, hypertension, high cholesterol, pulmonary disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and preventive medicine.

Main Line HealthCare Family Medicine at Riddle Hospital believes that a long-term relationship with the family can enhance the care for each individual member. Their mission is to help patients achieve optimal health through promoting a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Munshower graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at the same educational venue.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body

Remaining up to date in his field, Dr. Munshower is an active member of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Pennsylvania Medical Society.
