Get to know Internist Dr. Mohammad R. Rahnama, who serves patients in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Rahnama is a well-versed internist at North Parkville Health Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The practice provides comprehensive, conveniently located primary care in Baltimore County, caring for patients of all ages.

Locally, he is affiliated with University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, and University of Maryland Medical Center. He also serves as a Clinical Instructor of Internal Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Rahnama graduated with his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in 1987. He then went on to perform his internship at Bon Secours Hospital in 1991, and his residency at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in 1994.

Following his training, he attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.

With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Rahnama has been the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2014, 2015, 2017, 2018), and On-Time Doctor Award (2018).
