In regards to his educational background, he earned his medical degree from the University of London Faculty of Medicine. This was followed by an internship at Guy’s Hospital, a residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a fellowship at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.

Among his various achievements, the doctor is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery, which is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.

In order to stay up to date in his field, Dr. Mowschenson remains a member of the American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, the Boston Surgical Society, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the New England Surgical Society.
