She completed her residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where she received the Patient Appreciation Award for three years in a row, among other awards throughout her education.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the North Carolina Medical Society.
