Dr. Quartano was born in New Orleans and has spent the majority of his childhood in the Mandeville and Covington area. He went to St. Paul’s School in Covington and then moved to Athens, Georgia where he attended the University of Georgia, majoring in Genetics. He moved back to New Orleans after college, where he earned his Masters in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Quartano became particularly interested in cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery. He also spent his four years of dental school serving with the Student Government Association at LSU, as class president, Student Body President, and the student member of the Alumni Board. He is currently a member of many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and New Orleans Dental Association. He also aims to be very active in the legislative aspect of dentistry.

He comes from a family of dentists, with both his grandfather George Quartano and his brother Ross Quartano practicing dentistry. He is a huge fan of the patient interaction dentistry offers him, and he strives to get to know each of his patients on a personal level. He desires all patients to feel at ease while they receive care, and he hopes to establish lifelong relationships with each and every patient.

General dentists provide a wide array of services that are vital to patients’ continued health. These services include: preventive services, including helping to maintain good oral health by stopping disease before it takes hold in the mouth; restorative services, such as receiving timely and appropriate treatment when a problem is identified; as well as cosmetic services, including performing a range of cosmetic procedures, such as teeth whitening, cosmetic bonding, and even porcelain veneers. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Quartano enjoys staying active. He plays in local kickball leagues and enjoys coaching Crossfit. He grew up skiing and wakeboarding and continues to do so. He is an avid Saints and Pelicans fan and enjoys college football, cheering his on his alma mater. He is also a member of the 610 Stompers and can be found marching during Mardi Gras with the dance crew.
