Since then, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications mostly focused on pharmacological therapies and has lectured at various conferences locally, nationally, and internationally. He has been an active researcher, clinician, and mentor to many medical students, psychiatry residents and fellows, as well as psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Alongside his clinical role, he serves as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
