Get to know Dentist Dr. Jasper N. Watts, who serves patients in Hampton, Virginia.

An extraordinary dentist, Dr. Watts serves patients at his private practice - Watts Family Dentistry - in Hampton, Virginia. His finest work is created using high-tech tools and the most state-of-the-art procedures available.  Equally important, he truly values his patients, and will always take the time to explain every aspect of their care, so they will know everything about their procedure.

Graduating with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wayne State University, he decided to pursue his passion and attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Finally, he completed his fellowship at the Academy of General Dentistry.

Serving as Treasurer of the Old Dominion Dental Society since 1980, Dr. Watts is an active member of the American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Among his various accolades, Dr. Watts has been the recipient of the President’s ward (1997), and Dentist of the Year (1995).

On a more personal note, his passion and talent for art can be seen throughout his office in his sculptures, paintings, and photographs. It can also be seen in the thousands of smiles he has enhanced since 1997.
