With clinical expertise in female athlete triad and postpartum care, Dr. Leitner is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with hospital privileges at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Both are a part of Penn Medicine - a world-renowned academic medical center in Philadelphia with a staff comprised of innovators who have dedicated their lives to advancing medicine through excellence in education, research, and patient care. 

She also serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine, which is the medical school of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. 

In regards to her educational background, Dr. Leitner earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine - University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She then went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital.

Before long, she became board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) - a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
