Matthew O. Hubbard, MD, is a Board Certified General Surgeon and is fellowship-trained in Advanced Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Hubbard's goal is to provide excellent surgical care using laparoscopic procedures for obesity, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric banding and revision of prior bariatric surgery. He strives towards minimizing post-operative pain and getting patients back to their daily routines and jobs in as short a time as possible. Dr. Hubbard specializes in all types of primary and recurrent abdominal wall and hiatal hernias, both through open and laparoscopic approaches. He also provides minimally invasive approaches for gallbladder disease, diseases of the stomach and foregut, including paraesophageal hernia repair.
