Barbara became interested in acupuncture after a friend introduced her to the subject. She was drawn to the field because it combines a body, mind and spirit approach to health and wellness. Barbara has always had a passion for helping people and through the practice of acupuncture she is able to help many people.
Now practicing in Lavallette and Brick, NJ, Barbara uses the ancient tecniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine along with inovated technology. If appropriate, clients are evaluated with state of the art Acugraph Meridian testing. The AcuGraph Digital Meridian Imaging system is a computerized tool used to analyze and document the energetic status of the acupuncture meridians. We use the system in a short examination by touching a moistened probe to acupuncture points on your hands and feet.
Additionally the Actron Mentor can be used when needed. The Acutron produces extremely minute electric stimuli to replicate electric signals in our body. This technology is used for chronic and acute pain, inflammation, sports injuries and fibromyalgia among many other aliments. It reduces recovery period of damaged tissues, helps repair tramatic injurise quickly and reduces inflammation and swelling.
Barbara strives to provide proven healthcare solutions for active lives. Our mission at Knoll Acupuncture is to help clients of all ages.
