Get to know Urogynecologist Dr. Jennifer Yeung, who serves patients in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A dedicated urogynecologist, Dr. Yeung is in practice at TriHealth Women’s Services in Cincinnati, Ohio. She chose to specialize in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery when she experienced first-hand the impact urogynecologists can have on a woman’s life, enhancing her well-being as a whole.

Making patients feel comfortable is her priority, especially given that the conditions she treats are private matters and can be difficult to discuss with a physician. She wants to offer a safe environment, free from judgment, so that patients can discuss their concerns and fears openly. She believes that women should talk about these conditions so they can be reassured that others suffer from similar problems and learn more about their own conditions.

Excited to develop patient-practitioner relationships that offer a “whole-patient” approach to health and illness, Dr. Yeung uses minimally invasive techniques to reduce surgical healing times and surgical risk, and offers the most up-to-date surgical and technological advances in urogynecology.

Beginning her professional pursuits at the Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology and her fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at TriHealth in 2014 and 2017, respectively.

Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in female pelvic medicine & reconstructive surgery and obstetrics & gynecology through the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG). The AOBOG is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) who specialize in the care of the female reproductive tract and children during the course of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period (obstetricians) and to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the female reproductive tract (gynecologists).

Holding a license to practice medicine in Ohio, she can be found on staff at Bethesda North Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital.

Urogynecology is a specialized field of Gynecology and Obstetrics that deals with female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. Urogynecologists are doctors who diagnose and treat pelvic floor conditions such as sexual dysfunction, weak bladder, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse (when the organs drop because the muscles are weak).

On a more personal note, Dr. Yeung is married and has one child. She is a member of The 50 of the Contemporary Arts Center and Crossroads Church. She enjoys traveling, yoga and running.
