Dr. Lock is a board-certified internist, pulmonologist, and critical care physician practicing at Piedmont Physicians Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine of Marietta in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Lock earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Moreover, he was chosen to serve as Chief Resident for one year after the completion of his internal medicine residency (2002 – 2003), and served as Chief Fellow during his final year of fellowship training (2005 – 2006).
Dr. Lock holds three board certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine, i.e., critical care medicine, pulmonary disease medicine, and internal medicine. The American Board of Internal Medicine is a 501 nonprofit, self-appointed physician-evaluation organization that certifies physicians practicing internal medicine and its subspecialties.
