Get to know Gastroenterologist Dr. Donald Richberg Campbell, who serves patients in Overland Park, Kansas.

Dr. Campbell is a practicing gastroenterologist at Saint Luke’s GI Specialists-South in Overland Park, Kansas.

The experts at Saint Luke’s GI Specialists are a referral-based practice that diagnoses and treats gastroenterology diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon and rectum, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, and biliary system. They offer multidisciplinary care in four convenient, patient-friendly offices and outpatient surgical centers.

A 1979 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Dr. Campbell went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1983. This was followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology at UF Health Shands Hospital in 1986.

A Fellow of the American Gastroenterological Association, he is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Practicing in the states of Kansas and Missouri, Dr. Campbell is affiliated with Saint Luke’s Hospital Of Kansas City, Saint Luke’s South Hospital, Saint Luke’s North Hospital-Barry Road, and Saint Luke’s Hospital Medical Education Internal Medicine Clinic. He is also a Professor within the Department of Internal Medicine, Section of Gastroenterology at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine.
