  • Does the pap smear break my hymen?

If you did or didn't...it wouldn't be the fault of the doctor performing the procedure. You could break your hymen naturally riding a bike, or trying to catch your balance. I understand your religious concerns but life doesn't work like that. Try to find happiness in your health. READ MORE

  • Do I have an STD?

There are many different causes of vaginal burning, including irritants, sexually transmitted diseases, and menopause (last one is ruled out). Each cause has its own symptoms and forms of treatment. Don't jump to conclusions and go to a clinic and get tested properly. Too many women are embarrassed that they could have gotten something and don't get treated. Not being treated is by far the worst thing you can do to your body. In the meantime, don't have sex with anybody else and stay away from perfumes and dyes in your washing habits and buy a "clean" detergent and stay away from fabric softeners for your underwear. • Will cps take my baby if I test positive at birth?

Marijuana doesn’t seem to be very dangerous, but it depends on the state you live in. Some states will take the baby and others won't. I would try to stop and have the doctor screen you for multiple drug tests and show that you were negative during the pregnancy. READ MORE

  • I have strange gas?

Hi. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. This is not related to the antidepressants or melatonin. It could be related to swelling in the vagina. You could try using a small tampon or pad to stop your air problem. Also, why are you taking melatonin (at night?) to sleep. If you are underweight maybe you have some anxiety concerns which should be addressed. It's common for anxious people to have weight loss. Having anxiety so young may hinder psychological growth. Please talk with someone at school and if you don't trust them please call someone at a local women's clinic. If you tell them you are 13 and are having serious anxiety I'm sure they would listen and direct you to someone who could help. There are many people who want to help! READ MORE

Water based lubricants are very useful to prevent irritation of softer vaginal tissue. Also, if you are using toys...water based lubricants won't break down the plastic or silicone and some problems may arise by using oils. READ MORE

  • Am I pregnant?

It would be improper for any doctor to say definitively yes or no. Many of those symptoms could apply to other concerns. An excellent idea would be to purchase a home pregnancy test and follow the directions exactly. From this information it would allow a healthcare provider to give you a more definitive answer. More importantly if your symptoms seem to get worse you should seek medical attention. READ MORE
