About

Mostly Telemedicine. Prescriber of Suboxone for addiction since 2015. I'm comfortable prescribing ADHD and anxiety meds. I check the natl databases. Some states have limitations. Most states are open to the interstate compact until end of 2023. Physically, I do house calls or visit ppl in the workplace who do not want to take off of work. You may visit me in person. No insurance accepted, but I am much cheaper/ convenient than urgent care or ER.

I'm available for video chat,

kids; sometimes but rarely pictures or video are needed for me to diagnose the issue (rashes, throats, lethargy).

Other issues far less $ depending on what you want prescribed, and how much risk is at stake. I e-scribe it to your pharmacy.

  • Antibiotics, it says take 1 four times a day?

It is better if you can take them every 6 hours. If you are sick, alarm goes off, take your dose...you will fall back asleep easy. Traci Fritz, MD READ MORE

  • Is drinking hot carob spoiling my keto diet?

First off, glad to hear you are working on your eating disorder. Extremely difficult to manage, on the level of crippling OCD. I haven't heard of this drink powder you mention. All I can say, is that to focus on super quality real animal protein. A powdered mix is so overprocessed; and even if I am (personally) physically hungry I tend to drink water just to make my stomach shut up. Also, powders are a pain to mix/clean up. First off, you have to get very good counseling and supportive family with you. I have a cousin who is my age. She was way too intelligent to grow up with my aunt/uncle. Her eating disorder grew from her wanting to be in control. I don't blame her. Btw, she was never overweight. Very athletic, good looking, popular. Her dad was a controlling pile of garbage. She beat her eating disorder over the course of 5+ years. Key turning point: she realized she doesn't need her parents' approval. She almost died early 30's, pretty scary. READ MORE

  • Sex and ejaculation without arousal concerns?

This is a complex and delicate question. You have to look in the mirror. Are you obese? Do you lift weights? What are your HbA1c and testosterone levels? I would hope that those values are off (especially during this pandemic) rather than relationship problems. The pandemic has led to a lot of domestic abuse/divorce, etc. If domestic life is fine, your problem is being pre-diabetic from inadequate exercise, or if you are taking psych meds like so many grown men I have seen break down in tears... Most of my patients are working age guys. They are struggling. Restrictions are loosened during this crisis beyond regular USA state lines. READ MORE

  • What is the red dot on my thigh?

Okay, sit down. Really. Sounds like BCC (benign skin cancer) that needs to be frozen off sooner the better. Other option is HSV2. The tests for that are still crude in 2020. Unless you have a weeping active sore, the blood test is a totally false okay fine! Sign. Some patients have paid up to $200 for urine tests. That is an absolute scam. 3rd option, if you are shaving down there, pour rubbing alcohol over the razor before and after a shave. Don't leave the razor in a humid place. I hope this is your problem. If you have HSV2, it is your responsibility to inform your partner. Condoms help, but only some. Hope this helps. READ MORE

  • How do you know if it's your tonsils that hurt?

Get a flashlight. Get a plastic knife for a tongue depression. Whatever you can use say ahh. If you have swollen painful tonsils call a clinic before you go. Do not ask a friend to look. Go to a Covid 19 test site where you live. Big name commercial urgent care places will not see people w sore throats. Call ahead. Be well! READ MORE

  • How do you relieve ear pain from tonsillitis?

Firstly I would treat you with the antibiotic I use for International pilots/crew members. Get a Covid test. Regardless of the covid test results it sounds like you need antibiotics. If you don't treat it w correct antibiotics, and just let it it heal on its own, when you are 60-70 years old you might need an aortic heart valve transplant. I see this right now in a lot of elderly people. No holistic home remedies. You can roll the dice. Now is not a good time. READ MORE

  • Chlamydia?

Yes, you need to inform sex partners. Most people don't have symptoms. Chlamydia can make people infertile or suffer from pain from internal scars. Doxycycline for 2 weeks bare minimum. People might add another drug to really kill it. READ MORE

  • Penile papules?

I'm up way too late but looks like a yeast infection first glance. A pill of fluconazole is first thing I would do. Antibiotics for a UTI extra bonus to be safe, you want antibiotics to cover e coli based on your situation. Resistance fluctuates based on location, etc. READ MORE

  • Is it normal for my feet to be this cold?

If you smoke cigarettes, or have high cholesterol. If these don't apply to you I cannot fully answer your question. READ MORE

  • Can the emergency room treat a panic attack?

They can, for a very high bill later. They might not even really treat your panic. They will really be giving you oxygen and blood tests/ekgs to rule out a heart attack. The special place I work for, I can give you all those things. Do the lab work. Give you a place to chill out and stabilize you. Then after you are feeling more normal, I hear the panic attacks just like an outpatient primary or psychiatrist would. Trust me. During 2020, I have seen people absolutely melt down with crippling anxiety. During the pandemic, depending on what your states rules are, we have more freedom to treat mental health across state lines during the pandemic. Lots of ways to approach it! READ MORE

  • AIHA?

Possibly. I would have to research it further, but cocaine use causes a range of long-term effects that are different from other drugs of abuse. That dose of prednisone is very high, and will cause you more problems later on. In the very least, take calcium and vit D supplements 3x day. Your bones and teeth are at risk in your situation. READ MORE

  • Can I see my girlfriend over a week after having covid-19?

Technically the rule is 10 days for healthcare responders. For anyone else, the rule is 2 negative tests and 14 days. The tests can easily be false negative. Healthcare people have to wear n95s or respirators, sometimes even w positive results bc the we are strained. All hands on deck. Good luck! Wish you and your Girlfriend the best! READ MORE

  • Intermitting fasting and medicine better taken with food?

Intermittent fasting is great! I'm a huge fan. Probably just taking it with a little bit of food is fine. 100 Calories should be fine. It depends on what the medicine is. Almost all drugs are NOT better taken with calcium products. Make sure your Dr knows you are taking it w yogurt. READ MORE

  • Lower leg swollen?

That could be a DVT (deep blood clot) that can be deadly. To rule it out, I would order an ultrasound on it at an outpatient imaging place. Other possible reasons are: 1. Bad blood flow in your leg (unlikely, that is a 20-year process) 2. Exposure to covid. Regardless if you had it or not. Doesn't matter. There is a microclotting issue that is not fully understood. I saw a 40-year-old female for this same problem. She refused to go to the ER during the pandemic. I had her take 2 aspirin every 4 hrs, her paramedic friend updated me with vitals overnight. She won! No DVT! No ER! It went down after 2-3 days. Get a blood pressure monitor (someone else don't drive) to make sure. If it starts to reach 170 systolic, then have someone drive you to the ER. Once it hits 200, ambulance is the only safe way. Do the aspirin, absolutely do not do the gas pedal motion on that foot. If there is a DVT that motion will knock the clot loose. Get an ultrasound. Traci Fritz, MD READ MORE

  • How can I cure night blindness naturally?

I wish there was a natural way to night blindness, but there currently is not. Especially car brands like Honda use lights that are way to strong and blind me a lot of the time. I'm 41 and those cars lights are very blinding. That aside, you may have early cataracts. READ MORE

  • What causes pain in spermatic cord?

Spermatocele. Most likely. If you want to have kids one day, don't panic if its one side. To diagnose it you need an ultrasound. If you exercise please wear supportive compression shorts. Under Amour is my favorite brand. Some of mine have lasted 20 years! Air dry only. READ MORE

  • Medical question?

Sorry to hear. Your pain is probably not covered good enough. I would put you on suboxone for pain. You mentioned "a lot of medications" I'm guessing you might be overweight. If so, have your doctor write an order for a sleep apnea test. If you have it, then you sleep with a cpap machine. You will sleep tons better and your blood pressure will improve. READ MORE

  • Why don't I sweat?

Only thing is to be sure you are drinking 8 × 8 oz water or more daily. You are likely dehydrated. If that's not the case for you, please go to your Dr. No sweating can be a hint at a bigger underlying issue. READ MORE

  • Why is accidentally swallowing ocean water so painful?

Ocean water is 33% more salty than human level saline. Please don't swallow it. I am a previous surfer. When the black flag is out on the beach w no storm: its because sewage has gotten into the water. You can get Hepatitis from it. I'd say wear googles but depending on what your doing they would probably fly off easily. READ MORE

  • Can you mix two medications and what to do if already mixed?

Please don't do that anymore. You are double dosing allergy meds. Not good side effects. You could get drowsy and have a car wreck. I would recommend an emergency Ventolin HFA inhaler if asthma attacks are an issue. Get the nose spray fluticasone propionate (otc) for nose stuffiness. 2 sprays each nostril 2 times a day. Use it everyday. No skipping, or else it doesn't work correctly. READ MORE

Get to know Family Physician Dr. Traci R. Fritz, who serves patients in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

Dr. Fritz has been practicing medicine in Wisconsin since 2015, currently working at The Doctor’s Office in Brookfield. Her passion for helping those suffering mental health and addiction problems has been a special interest. She also enjoys treating teenagers to retirees, business execs and full-time mothers.

Over the years, she has been seeing patients in their homes. Schedule permitting, she is comfortable bringing the comfort of an IV to an ill patient at home. For busy workers who cannot make it into the clinic during standard hours, flexible hours are available on a case by case basis.

The Doctor’s Office in Brookfield is a walk-in clinic that provides quality health care at a fair price with services in: primary care, urgent care, outpatient addiction medicine, physical therapy, lab work, women’s health, family practice, well-child checks, DOT physicals, and select medicine dispensed.

Earning her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston School of Medicine, Dr. Fritz spent several years training in the specialties of radiology and anesthesia. She missed patient contact and is much happier working in family practice and urgent care.

Her medical experience began in addiction research 20 years ago. She has worked with experts in the newly developing field and is comfortable with supervised alternative detoxification regimens. She enjoys educating patients on their options from diagnosis to treatment. Acute trauma, incision and drainage, sutures are especially welcomed.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.

On a more personal note, Dr. Fritz attributes her success to running track starting in 7th grade. “You put in the effort to get the results. Also later on in semi pro club rugby, I learned how important it is to conserve energy so that when it’s time to score, I can sprint my heart out” she stated.

Outside of the office, she enjoys breakdancing, roller skating, working out, lifting weights, auto mechanics and track racing. Her favorite place to vacation is South Beach in Miami, Florida.
