Dr. Zasimova, a licensed acupuncturist, is the Founder of Acupuncture for Life in Bellevue, Washington. She treats many health conditions in adults and children (pain, migraine, high blood pressure, sleep disturbances, digestive disorders, skin problems, gynecological disorders, infertility, diabetes, allergy, and others), specializing in severe and tough cases.

“My mission as a healer is to provide the highest quality health care and service with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) using a wide range of TCM methods. These methods include: Chinese and Japanese acupuncture, auricular (Ear) acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, microcurrent therapy, cupping, plum blossom therapy, Gua Sha, moxibustion therapy, and acupressure” she stated.

With a strong background in Conventional and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Dr. Zasimova is able to integrate her knowledge, training, and experience in both and believes in the benefits of treating patients naturally with no harmful side effects. Her focus is on re-establishing harmony and balance within the body, mind, and spirit of each patient. She strongly believes that most health problems are self-inflicted and that the cause of most diseases is the failure to take proper preventive measures.

In her practice, she has a combination of treatments which will help each patient in their way to full recovery. Acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, facial rejuvenation therapy, nutrition, and lifestyle consultation – all of them are used depending on individual constitution and existing health condition(s).

Prior to receiving her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree at the Seattle Institute of Oriental medicine, Dr. Zasimova earned her medical degree at Moscow Medical University (Russia) and her Doctorate degree in pediatrics from the National Certifying Commission (Russia). Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine and a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a technique in which thin needles are inserted into the body and in some cases, electro-stimulation is applied to gently stimulate particular regions of the body. Acupuncture is also used to maintain general health and well-being. Acupuncturists treat a variety of physical and psychological issues, such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, pain, digestive disorders, and infertility.

On a more personal note, Dr. Zasimova speaks both English and Russian.
