The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the Grant Medical College of Bombay University in India in 1983. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Catholic Medical Center.
With a desire to further his training, he performed a fellowship in hematology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island, a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and a fellowship in oncology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
Specializing in PET/CT imaging, Dr. Contractor is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
