Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Joshua S. Fenton, who serves patients in Pennsylvania. 

As an emergency medicine specialist, Dr. Fenton treats a wide range of acute conditions or injuries in an emergency room.

Licensed to practice medicine in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Michigan, Mississippi, Indiana, New Jersey, Ohio, West Virginia, he is affiliated with Allegheny Health Network.  

Graduating with his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Dr. Fenton went on to perform his residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan.

Following his education, he attained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.

Achieving professional competence, Dr. Fenton is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians (FACEP) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM).

Dr. Fenton has both been in academics as well as held several administrative roles.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. A pediatric emergency physician is a specialist in the care of children and teens who are acutely ill or injured. They are trained to care for a wide range of problems that require immediate medical help. These problems are often serious and may be life-threatening.
