Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. Peter B. Randolph, who serves patients in Boston, Massachusetts.

With over six decades of experience in his field, Dr. Levine is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses. He may treat patients through a variety of methods including medications, psychotherapy or talk therapy, psychosocial interventions, and more – depending on each individual case. At present, he is affiliated with Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Tufts Medical Center is an internationally-respected academic medical center – a teaching hospital where the staff pride themselves not only in the sophistication of the care they provide but the compassionate way in which they provide it. They care for all patients from the tiniest newborns at their full-service pediatric hospital, Floating Hospital for Children, to centenarians in their specialized Geriatrics clinic.

As for his academic career, Dr. Randolph earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School back in 1961. He then proceeded to complete his residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts Mental Health Center and his residency in internal medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.

The doctor is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high-quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists. He is also a part of the New England Quality Care Alliance, which is the award-winning, not-for-profit physician network of Tufts Medical Center.

Psychiatry is the medical specialty devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental disorders. These include various maladaptations related to mood, behavior, cognition, and perceptions. Psychiatrists evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. They conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, prescribe medication, and evaluate treatment results.
