After completion of his internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he was fellow-trained in cardiology at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. 

Dr. Gottlieb is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, and electrophysiology. Dr. Gottlieb is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). He is also a member of the American College of Physicians, the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology, and the International Society for Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology. 

Over the length of his medical career, Dr. Gottlieb has written and published numerous publications. Additionally, he has given many presentations and lectures in his area of specialty. Dr. Gottlieb’s areas of interest include pharmacological arrhythmia management, implantation/management of implantable devices, and radiofrequency ablation procedures.
