Dr. Rizk is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Crescent Care Women’s Health (CCWM) in Clifton, New Jersey. She uses her extensive experience to treat complex gynecological conditions such as endometriosis and fibroids.
CCWH aims to provide women with excellent surgical care to optimize results for each and every patient. Advanced minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, are chosen over traditional open surgical methods whenever they are applicable.
Back in 2009, Dr. Rizk graduated with her medical degree from the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She then completed her residency training at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson/ St. Peters Medical Center, and her Master of Healthcare Administration degree from Seton Hall University.
Subsequent to her training, the doctor attained board certification in obstetrics and gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.
Since May of 2018, Dr. Rizk has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is also a member of the American College of Physician Executives and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
During her over 20 years of experience, Dr. Rizk has held positions in private practice and academic faculty institutions. She was the Medical Director who founded and was awarded the first Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (COEMIGS) outside the continental US in Dubai in November 2012.
Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
Throughout her line of work, Dr. Rizk has lectured nationally and internationally on endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery topics.
