Following this, he pursued a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Windsor, graduating in 2002. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce at the said establishment in 2004. 

Continuing his academic journey, Dr. Chitte obtained a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry Degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2008. He then performed his general practice residency and internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at John D Dingell VAMC in 2009 and 2011, respectively. He also completed an additional residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Detroit Medical Center from January 2014-June 2019.

Among his professional dental affiliations, Dr. Chitte is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Michigan Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He credits his success to observing the strong work ethic demonstrated by his parents, both of whom were physical therapists.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a surgical specialty focusing on reconstructive surgery of the face, facial trauma surgery, the oral cavity, head and neck, mouth, and jaws, as well as facial cosmetic surgery/facial plastic surgery including cleft lip and cleft palate surgery.
