Get to know Anesthesiologist Dr. Dennis Reilly, who serves patients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Reilly is a board certified anesthesiologist offering over 15 years of experience in a wide array of clinical settings. He currently holds the position of Medical Director of Ari Blanc Medical Spa in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In his role as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Reilly has not only directly cared for patients but also assumed the position of clinical chairman within a multi-hospital anesthesia department. Leveraging this dual responsibility, he co-founded UltraCare Anesthesia Partners, a full-service anesthesia company delivering clinical care and consultancy services throughout the Delaware Valley.
Dr. Reilly’s fascination with the field of anti-aging techniques and alternative wellness grew from his years caring for both patients seeking surgical options for youthful rejuvenation or requiring surgery due to the natural aging process. This fascination led him to acquire advanced training in non-surgical approaches, such as dermal aesthetics and platelet-rich plasma therapy, offering patients alternative avenues for achieving a more youthful appearance. These aesthetic services are now provided to a broad clientele at Ari Blanc Medical Spa.
Additionally, as the Chief Medical Officer of UltraCare Anesthesia Partners, Dr. Reilly is guiding the establishment of a comprehensive medical spa in Southern New Jersey, focusing on delivering similar services.
A native Philadelphian, Dr. Reilly graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. He then went on to complete his residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from 2001 to 2004.
Since 2006, Dr. Reilly has been board certified in anesthesiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology (AOBA). The AOBA is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) and physicians who specialize in the administration of anesthetic agents and perioperative medicine (anesthesiologists).
Dr. Reilly’s experience in the alternative fields of aesthetic medicine and platelet rich plasma therapy led him to consult with several centers in the Delaware Valley focusing on wellness and anti-aging therapies. He currently serves as a collaborative and consulting physician, working with Advanced Practice Nurses trained in PRP injections for both aesthetic and orthopedic purposes at these centers.
Anesthesiology is the medical specialty concerned with the total perioperative care of patients before, during, and after surgery. It encompasses anesthesia, intensive care medicine, critical emergency medicine, and pain medicine. Anesthesiologists have the primary responsibility of monitoring the patient’s vital signs during surgery. In addition to basic measurements such as pulse, blood pressure, and temperature, they measure the patient’s respiration.
When away from his medical practice, Dr. Reilly’s time is occupied by his wife, two young children, and three-legged Pug.
