Get to know Internist Dr. Arvind Salwan, who serves patients throughout the State of California.

An excellent internist, Dr. Salwan is affiliated with Alliance Desert Physicians, seeing patients in Hesperia and Apple Valley, California. He specializes in hypertension, dyslipidemia, vascular disease, arthritis, geriatric care, lupus, and renal failure.

Alliance Desert Physicians is a medical group in the High Desert owned and operated by local independent physicians in private practice, dedicated to practicing medicine with compassionate healing, respect and consideration for their patients’ well being.

Back in 2000, Dr. Salwan earned his medical degree from the M. Rampure Medical College in India. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the Jackson Park Cook County Hospital and Resurrection Medical Center.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
