Meet J. Edward Hernandez, MD, world class Rheumatologist Dr. Jesus Edward Hernandez is a Board Certified Rheumatologist and Assistant Clinical Professor for Baylor College of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, and a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. Dr. Hernandez earned his degree from Angelo State University, San Angelo, Texas in 1991. He attended medical school at Texas Tech University School of Medicine and earned an internal medicine and degree. He is board certified in General Medicine and Rheumatology. Dr. Hernandez practices at Fort Bend Rheumatology Associates, a leading rheumatology practice focused on providing comprehensive and compassionate care to patients suffering from diseases that affect the muscles, joints and bones. He specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of rheumatic diseases. He treats his patients with respect and compassion and has a single goal—to provide the safest and most effective treatments available. The offices,in Sugar Land and Lake Jackson, treat a variety of Rheumatic diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Osteoarthritis, Gout, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Osteoporosis, Sarcoidosis, Scleroderma, and Psoriatic Arthritis. Infusion services are offered in the office for patients who require IV infusion therapy. Additional services include in-house blood draws, MRIs, ultrasound imaging to look at superficial joint and tendon structures and ultrasound guided pain relieving injections. Dr. Hernandez also uses a multidisciplinary approach to manage autoinflammatory diseases and or periodic fever syndromes.
