He earned his medical degree and completed an internship, residencies in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology, and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Rochester.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, which certifies physicians as specialists in the practice of nuclear medicine.

On a professional level, Dr. Dockery is a proud member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
