Get to know Radiologist Dr. Keith Forrest Dockery, who serves patients in Waldwick, New Jersey.

A top radiologist, Dr. Dockery is in practice with Radiology Associates of Ridgewood, P.A. in Waldwick, New Jersey. He specializes in body/musculoskeletal imaging, neuroradiology, and nuclear medicine/PET.

Alongside his clinical position, Dr. Dockery can be found on staff at The Valley Hospital. 

Prior to his current engagements, he was an Instructor in the Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and an Environmental Consultant in Portland, Oregon. 

A graduate of Virginia Tech with a major in Biology, Dr. Dockery has a Master’s degree from Portland State University and a Doctor’s degree from the Tulane University Pharmacology Doctoral Program. He earned his medical degree and completed an internship, residencies in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology, and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Rochester.

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in diagnostic radiology through the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, which certifies physicians as specialists in the practice of nuclear medicine.

On a professional level, Dr. Dockery is a proud member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Radiological Society of North America, and the American Society of Neuroradiology.

Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options. 

As a testament of his excellence, Dr. Dockery received the Academy of Medicine Award in Honor of George H. Whipple, MD for thesis contributing to progress in medicine from the Rochester Academy of Medicine in 2001.
