A knowledgeable anesthesiologist, Dr. Humanez is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. 

Originally from Colombia, he graduated with his medical degree from the Universidad De Antioquia School of Medicine in 2000. After relocating to the United States, he completed his residency in internal medicine at UM Prince George’s Hospital Center in 2009, and his residency in anesthesiology at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in 2012. Finally, he completed his fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Chicago in 2013.

An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in anesthesiology and critical care medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
